River Fishing

our small river flowing

We have our own river running right through our property dividing our home from our smallholding. The river holds a good number of very tasty fish that you could catch and then maybe barbeque next to your room. All of our fishing as a guest, is free, and the fish you may catch is yours to keep.

Welcome to our home in Bohol, Philippines

Cora, my Filipino wife, and I, an Englishman have together built and developed a little piece of heaven in the quiet, welcoming Nahanan Barangay, on the Northerly coast of Bohol. We are approximately 10km from the port of Tubigon where regular ferries run to and from Cebu City, and about an hour by car to the new Tagbilaran Panglau International Airport, with regular flights to Manila and the rest of the world.

Our home offers you a place where you can relax, with our self catering breakfasts cooked in your own kitchen/dining areas. We supply you with the ingredients for a delicious start to your day, and perhaps you would like to collect your own fresh eggs from our poultry houses. Whilst there, maybe feeding and watering our free-range pigs and goats.

We will help you to have an evening barbeque by suggesting meats and/or salads and vegetables to suit your palatte easily obtained from the local markets. This will also help you to meet and chat with our Filipino neighbours whilst they practice their English.

Perhaps you would like us to help you with your application for a UK visa, and need to include an English test certificate. We can help you with your preparation for the test with speaking and listening practice needed for your test, and whilst studying with us, why not spend a few nights in our home.

Whatever you would like to do, contact us to discuss your ideas and concerns and we look forward to welcoming you to our home..
